You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. It's a really good start. I do love to listen to ChillStep while I work and this sounds like something I'd have on my playlist.
From the fade out at the end I'm guessing this is either part of multiple tracks or just something unfinished. It feels like there should be more; try experimenting with builds and breaks to make your track longer.
As for the speech, I don't find anything wrong with it. A bit long for my tastes, but that isn't a bad thing. I've heard entire tracks of just speech. Nice job. ;)

AlexMaden responds:

Thanks for the kind words, and this is unfinished yes. I just experimented a bit. :))

Nice track, bud. The structure is nice, and pleasing to listen to. Keep up the good work.

Phantasma000 responds:

Thanks!

Pretty fast paced track you got there. Nothing wrong with that though. I like the piano intro and the happy atmosphere.

Jakki responds:

thanks ^^

My my, you certainly have come a long way since 2009. It's nice to see fellow artists on here improve so much over time.

As for your track, the structure and everything is pretty solid. Nice ups and downs, builds up to a satisfying drop, and the melody hooks pretty well (it's stuck in my head now, thanks :P).

The only thing I can think of (and this is likely because I'm wearing headphones) is that it could use a tiny bit more bass. Maybe some distortion, but that's more of a personal preference. I wouldn't change it though, it's really good as is. I can definitely hear the hours of work you put in.

Awesome track, I look forward to hearing more from you.

DjAbbic responds:

Haha thanks, and I'm glad the melody was nice enough to get stuck in your head (sorry :p). I experienced the same thing with the bass on my headphones, but when I boosted it a bit, it started drowning other things out when I listened to it on speakers (not sure if that's supposed to be normal), so I decided against it in the end.

Thanks a lot for the review, glad my nostalgia trip allowed you to find this :p

Very innocent feel to your song. Interesting sounds and emotion. Don't worry too much about your friends drifting apart; it's part of life. People come and go, but the ones who truly matter will remain in your life.

larrynachos responds:

Thanks dude

Very lovely collab. Definitely projects a lot of emotion an personal style, and the structure seems spot on.
The only thing I would suggest would be to bring out the vocals a tiny bit more; primarily in the chorus. This is a fantastic piece and you should all be very proud of your work.

Shanath responds:

Thank you so much for the kind words. It was a bit hard to get together and finish it but I'm glad we pulled through. :]

Neat

Always enjoy a good FF7 song. :)

TheDesuLord responds:

always enjoy comments =D

Awesome work

A fantastic effort! :)

Step responds:

Thank you! Glad you liked it.

Lyrics?

Neat track. Very well put together. Did you ever consider adding lyrics? I think it would be an awesome addition. :)

DustyBoozer responds:

i probably would if i had a working mic. unfortunately the one i have decided to commit suicide.

Pretty good.

I didn't much care for the high-pitched 8-bit slider thing you did at the end, but the rest of it was really enjoyable.

Ma501st responds:

Yea, ive recently just started and im still working on how to end songs, seems to be the only area i struggle with, thanks for the review though!

Ready for some rad D&D and Video Game inspired music? Looks like you've aced your search. My mantra has always been music.
PM me for collabs and more stupid puns.
